TAJWEED CORRECTION FOR SISTERS WHO ALREADY RECITE
You went to Qur'an school as a child, or picked up recitation informally along the way — maybe even attended tajweed classes. You know some rules on paper, and you still have no idea whether you're applying it in your recitation, because nobody has listened to you closely in years.

A FAMILIAR AYAH, MULTIPLE RULES
وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ﴿٣﴾
[113:3]
You can recite this ayah. The question is whether you know the rules in it and how to apply them?
THE PLATEAU
Most sisters who come to me are not beginners. They learned to read Qur'an as children, or picked it up informally as adults, and they can read the Qur'an now. Some sat through a Tajweed class or two. They can recite a familiar surah, or a juz they've memorised, without hesitation.
Then they open a page they don't know, and the ghunnah is short, the madd is uneven, the qalqalah disappears entirely, and the heavy letters aren't pronounced accurately. Simply because they haven't learnt to replicate the Tajweed foundations in any page they open.
Reading familiar surahs isn't the same as reciting confidently wherever you open the Qur'an.

WHAT TO EXPECT
A free 30-minute conversation where we'll discuss your background, listen to your recitation, and determine the best place to begin.
You'll recite a few āyāt while I identify your strengths, weaknesses, and the habits that need correcting.
I'll recommend the pathway that's best suited to you — group or one-to-one — and explain exactly what we'll focus on first.
We begin by strengthening your makhārij before progressing through the rules of Tajweed, ensuring every correction has a solid foundation.
Every lesson includes live recitation and personalised correction, helping you turn the rules into confident, natural recitation.
YOUR TEACHER
After years of studying and teaching Tajweed, I've come to believe it is learned best step by step, at your own pace, with practical guidance and someone willing to stop you and say, "Read that letter again."
I work exclusively with sisters who already know how to read the Qur'an but want to recite it correctly and confidently. My students aren't learning to read — they're learning to recite with precision, understanding, and beauty, one letter at a time.
BEFORE YOU APPLY
Yes — that's exactly who this is for. Most sisters who join learned to read as children, or picked it up informally as adults, and haven't studied the rules in a structured way since. What matters is that you can read the Qur'an now.
Because most courses teach you the rule and move on. Here, you recite out loud every session and I correct you in real time — that's the part that actually changes your recitation, not just what you know about it.
We work that out together on your placement call, once I've actually heard you recite. Most sisters progress faster in a group of similar-level peers — 1:1 is reserved for cases where the pace genuinely needs to be individual.
Thirty minutes, over video. I'll ask about your background, listen to a short recitation, and tell you honestly what I hear and what I'd recommend — no payment, and no obligation to enrol afterwards.
We revisit it. If your pace, level, or availability changes, you're not locked into your original placement — we'll talk it through and adjust.
In group classes, recordings are shared, though regular attendance is expected so you don't fall behind. Rescheduling isn't generally offered for 1:1 sessions, since your fee reserves that slot in my week.
Weekly homework, plus regular practice between sessions. Your progress depends on the reciting you do outside class, not only the correction you get inside it.
